As a leader many would want them to be head strong, and willing to sacrifice their own pawns, this is not the case for Reni, whom believes each life under his command is unique and is required. He takes personally the loss of each comrades life when under his own command. He will go to surprising lengths in order to betray them, even if that means fully disobeying direct orders from those higher up than he is. What adds to his ability as leader, is the capability to adapt a plan, whether it be creating full, elaborate schemes, to improvising on the spot. He is not one to take sides during arguments, not willing to allow himself to be drawn in to such things, generally Reni will try to diffuse the situation kindly, if not and it is at all possible, he will not fret with pulling the good old, I order you to shut up card. What may be unique about Reni, is that he does not look down upon those around him whether they be of low calibre or one of the highest ranking in terms of the police force or even the elite four, he will treat everyone with the respect they deserve, and what they deserve depends on how they act, their attitude and how they hold themselves. If they are rude, intolerable and simply arrogant, the officer will be short with them, speaking to them only when one hundred percent necessary, yet if these type of people are in his unit, or apart of his squad, then the same rules apply, he will put his own life on the line to try to protect such arrogance. Due to this, and the fact that he refuses to belittle or seem condescending to the weaker humans, he seems to have developed a rather large fan based of young and fresh humans. Now though his power may be deemed weak to some people and strong to others, his capabilities are surely granted some form of justification from those whom have a superior power, even due to his power, he is rather cautious, he does not act upon a whim, or making hasty conclusions. He often makes careful and well planned deductions, before coming to a final and full decision. He is willing to offer up theories on the spot but refuses to proceed, an ability that he has is his dedication, when his mind is set to something, very little can actually persuade his to stop. He is willing to go to extreme lengths to find whatever it is he is looking for. When he was a young boy, Reni was a problem child, he was constantly causing trouble for his family, as a child he was constantly pulling pranks, annoying those within the town and even accidentally started a small dispute between those within the town. What was shown to be incredibly powerful even as a child, was his enormous will power, he was full of joy and laughter, yet had this innate capability to entice others with that will power, yet after the death of a friend caused by his childishness and idiocy his demeanour changed. No longer had a carefree child, no longer one who would childishly joke around, His demeanour become cold and aloof, he did not like going out as a squad, he turned completely around and tried to push people away, believing the colder he was the less chance he would have of having anyone else killed. His cold behaviour is such that he begun to physically strike those whom would take a shine to him. [Plot] Battle Style: Reni like the element of his choice, has a fluid battle style that is forever changing, why does it change? It fully depends upon the one whom he is facing, due to his persona Reni is not one to hold back against opponents, yet is not stupid enough to allow for a full frontal charge, his style is calculated, fluid and changing, perhaps this can be adapted as to not allow opponents to get a read on his battle movements. A fluid changing style that allows him to react to all types of foes. In his line of work, you have to be. Background History: The sea, open and vast, the soft motion of the ocean, the smell of sea salts, this was a life led by one, a pirate of the ocean, whose name was unrivalled by very few around him. This man, whom stood tall at eight foot was feared by many,he was a one man army, armed with his pokemon of the Ice variety, the man was famed for having conquered the pokemon league in the kanto. His adventures were great and many, Yet a single thing, something that is so insignificant to many yet so powerful and life changing to one happened. He became a father, the woman whom was pregnant would make it to the end of her term, yet the birthing of the boy would consume her life. His mother got to hold him, just once. The man known only as Raptor, would vanish from the face of the earth. Never to be heard off again, this took place thirty four years ago. The world had for some reason, seen the last of the great policeman Raptor. Five year's in to his life, Reni would find out that his father was ill, a rare viral disease that would claim his life, the five year old child was with him when it happened. His fathers pokemon had passed due to old age, all with the exception of Chloe the Cloyster. As the two remained around Raptors bed, Reni would always recall the last words echoed in his ears, "Be strong, and don't let anyone tell you what to do, look after my son Chloe" and with that, he was gone. The strongest man within Reni's life, wiped out by something un fightable. Perhaps due to this he took to the last line of his fathers words to heart, for he would soon find himself honing a craft, at five years old his intelligence was somewhat exceptional, and his co-ordination was that of mastery, using his "unique" looks, mainly his eyes, did he persuade many to give his what he wanted, manipulation of the heart, and of course tricks revolving around slight of hand would prove that even at five years old, Reni was able to survive and live, yet when his father house was seized, he was forced to flee, child services would do naught, he would not have a home and at the age of six he would find himself fully and truly homeless. Thankfully he was able to get by due to Chloe. The pokemon of great power would become his own partner, powering through battle after battle to earn money. of course those who challenged her would be over powered. She was a champion level pokemon after all. She needed no prompting from Reni during battle, thus this allowed the inexperienced trainer to watch her movements. By watching he was picking up how to battle. Yet even the battling world of pokemon and earning money could not put common sense in to that of a five year old, he did not know were to find shelter, nor know how to protect himself from that which was unbeatable. Rain poured down, the fragile broken form of an eight year old boy, disease and sickness had taken his body. Had taken what he deemed his soul, everything he had wanted, everything he had hoped for, a normal boy would have succumbed to his weaknesses, to the disease that fought to claim his life, but this little silver man had a will power that was as strong as the strongest sword. His will power pushed him on, not just for his sake, but for Chloes, for the beautiful cloyster whom had stood by him, whom cried for him when he took ill,yet even that strong will power would waver, he would find himself in the city of death...Lavender Town, this was the final town, the town were all his power had drained from his body. The stinking, rotten boy, whom smelled worse than the runniest of shits, lay crumpled upon the ground, his body tattered and ruined. This was the end, he knew it, people walked past his, turned their noses up at the stench he was releasing, the last thing he saw was the legs of people walking away from his, the last thing he heard was those same people talking about how disgusting he was, and all he could think was how jealous of them he was, that they get to live. and the darkness took his vision. What? what was that?, why can i hear foot steps? these were some of the many questions that ran through his head, he could hear something, he could hear people, his body, it was sore, it was painful, why...why could he hear people. His eyes, they were heavy, and his mouth was dry, yet he knew it, he knew he was alive. His cracked parched lips would break apart. A voice echoed as he moved "Hes awake", then his eyes opened, and a bunch of nurses would be in his vision, of course the light burned his eyes, oh fuck it hurt badly, yet the faces around him would be smiling, His body was not as sore as it had been, he no longer stunk, it would seem he had been bathed, it turned out that he had been in the hospital in a comatose state for over seven months, a man had brought him to the hospital and he had been washed after he had begun to heal. It was all thanks to Chloe, the cloyster whom upon the boy fainting sent up signals of distress until someone came running. He would soon find himself going through physical therapy, his legs and body having not been used for some time, it took a good few months but eventually the young boy was fit enough to leave.During his time, it had been disclosed that he was no longer in the Kanto region, in fact he had been moved to johto, Goldenrod city to the best medical ward, it had been paid by the stranger whom had brought him in. Due to his age he was put in to the system, though allowed to keep Chloe. Eventually he was adopted by a beautiful family. He lived with an elderly lady and a group of girls, during this time he got to know the Johto region and mainly the police force in town...for all the wrong reasons, stealing, abuse and vandalizing property were only some of the things he had been charged with. Yet he kept performing crimes but something was different, he did it to see the officers, the young boy had grown fascinated by them. Eventually asking about their career choice. One day he was sitting in the police station, simply to speak to them, it had been two years since he had commited a crime, in fact he had become a model citizen. Chloe beside him as they waited. The pokemon of water and ice would look at a poster, a poster that caused tears to fall from her eyes. Reni would follow the pokemons vision and their on the wall would be a poster, a missing poster that was years old. Ripping the poster of the wall Reni would put it on the desk. "You can take this down now, Raptor isn't missing" he would say. "Really how would you know boy" "Because he's dead...and im his son" the officer would look shocked, but Reni would walk away. It would be clarified soon enough via dna samples and of course kanto police force would have found the body sometime ago. Finding more about his fathers history it made Reni want to be an officer more and more. At the age of 20 he had done it, with the beautiful cloyster now aged drastically by his side. He worked for the police force for five years, before branching out on his own, he would still be apart of the force but having passed the bar he was now capable of solo work, something he prefered after he had caused his last partner to lose his life...well not his life but his ability to walk. It was a sting operation and team rocket had been their, it had went wrong. Thus on his own he felt better, though now he realized something, he would need to begin to train his own pokemon team, up until now it had been Chloe and him..eventually Chloe would pass away, at the age of 26 he had lost his oldest friend. Making a promise to Chloe that he would continue to do good, he would travel back to kanto to his fathers lot, along with his fathers other pokemon he would bury Chloe their too, so she was not alone in the after life. It was due to this pokemon, this single pokemon that he had become fully attached to those of the water element, and to the beauty of their power.
