Jeppe
Core Information Name: Jeppe Nickname/Alias: N/A Age: 18 Gender: Male Birthplace: Lavender Town, Kanto Trainer Classification: Trainer Character Tracker: Physical Attributes Height: 6'2 Weight: 173 pounds Appearance: With raven black hair and sparkling blue eyes, the tall young man would be considered "very attractive" by conventional standards. However, Jeppe prefers to keep his head down, hidden under his hood. Jeppe is usually seen wearing very dark clothes, most frequently a black shirt underneath a black cloak. He also wears a pair of sturdy black boots, for when he's trekking through rough terrain. Defining Traits: Jeppe's black cloak is probably the most defining part of his appearance, as not many people wear cloaks in modern times. Personality Personality: Jeppe is an introvert who definitely prefers to keep to himself, like many other introverts. He does not like loud noises, preferring to stay around silent, solitary locations rather than inside bustling cities. He has a kind heart, but due to the events in his past, he is afraid to let anybody close to him. Jeppe very much enjoys the company of Pokemon, as he feels that they are the only ones that can truly understand him. Jeppe is usually calm, quiet, and wary of his environment. He wishes to steadily push towards his goal of being a Pokemon Master, as that is his main goal in life, so far anyway. Jeppe also does not have a last name due to his origins, and he is quite sensitive about it when asked. Jeppe is also a fairly vindictive person, as he feels that he will never be able to forgive anybody who has wronged him, especially his mother. Jeppe views the world for what it truly is, a harsh place that does not wait on anybody. Jeppe also enjoys homely things in life, like good curry and warm sweaters. Much of the world is new to him, as he has spent his life separated from the "real world", so to speak. He is not quite afraid of the unknown, but rather he's wary of it. Jeppe can also come off as slightly creepy, seeing as he likes to take walks in the dark and observe people living out their normal lives. However, he does not intend to come off this way. Overall, Jeppe is a kind but misunderstood person who has had a bad card dealt to them in the game of life. Strengths: A very brave and genuine person, he is willing to defend those who he love, regardless of the consequences. Jeppe also has a deep connection with Pokemon, as they are willing to overlook his past sins, unlike many humans. Jeppe is also very street-smart, having spent a large portion of his teenage years living with hardened criminals inside a reformatory. Weaknesses: Jeppe is very much broken on the inside, from years of abuse and torment from his father in his childhood, and from having his own mother turn on him when he tried to help her. He is distrusting and wishes to avoid getting close to any human. Jeppe also comes off as very cold and introverted to strangers. Battle Style: Jeppe's fighting style is based on the Confucian saying "Slow and steady wins the race". His fighting style is a mix between defensive and offensive, one that allows him to outlast his opponents in battle. Background History: Jeppe was born in Lavender Town to a cult that worshipped Ghost Pokemon. The cult mainly stayed in the outskirts of the town, having been shunned by many of the residents living in Lavender Town. The cult members would visit the Pokemon Tower every night and pray to the ghosts of the deceased Pokemon that were buried in the tower. Jeppe's mother was a member of the cult, and she was brainwashed and impregnated by the cult leader, like many of the younger women in the cult. Jeppe was born out of this relationship between his mother and the cult leader. While Jeppe was growing up, he was not sent to school, instead being taught alongside his half brothers and sisters by the cult leader. Of course, he did not actually learn anything besides the maniacal beliefs and doctrines of his crazed father. The cult leader was abusive towards all of his "wives" and his children, both physically and emotionally. When one of the young women decided to leave the cult, she was physically prevented from leaving, and kept restrained in a dark room until she promised not to try to leave again. It was a horrible environment for Jeppe to have grown up in, and his mother had no intention of leaving it either, due to the "love" she had for her child's father. When Jeppe was a teenager, his mother got very sick from typhoid fever, which started spreading to the children as well. The cult leader would not allow them to get medicine or vaccines to treat the disease. However, Jeppe knew that he had to something to save his mother, so he decided to try to sneak out. Jeppe's father caught him trying to escape, and both of them engaged in a scuffle inside the tower. Jeppe's father ended up falling down a flight of stairs in the fight, dying shortly from a severe head injury. A lot of the brainwashed women were outraged, and Jeppe ended up being sentenced to juvenile hall for second degree murder, due to the numerous testimonies provided by the cult women telling police that Jeppe intended to kill his father. Even his mother took their side and condemned her own son. In juvenile hall, Jeppe kept to himself, learning that it was the best way to stay out of trouble. One of the ways that the law tried to reform youth was by allowing them to interact with Pokemon, and Jeppe was allowed to keep a Pokemon with him while he was in Juvenile Hall. It turned out that Jeppe really enjoyed the company of Pokemon, and he decided that he wanted to be a trainer once he get out. Besides, there really wasn't anything else he could once he had gotten out of the reformatory, as to society, he was an uneducated psycho that killed his own father. Nobody would hire him for work, and he would never be able to go to university. Being a trainer was Jeppe's only shot at becoming somebody one day.. Defining Moments: Jeppe accidentally killed his psychopathic father while he was trying to defend himself. Other Information |

Re: Jeppe
Pokémon Pokémon: Kangaskhan Nickname: Orpah Gender: Female Personality: Stern but compassionate, she is a figure of solid resolve no matter the situation and no matter the odds. She holds a loving nature and sees all of her close companions as family rather than friends, including Jeppe. She does have streaks of letting her temper loose when pushed too far over the edge, though she's often otherwise in a calm and collected frame of mind. Her hugs are usually too powerful and too long-lasting. The child in her pouch isn't yet capable of complex emotions, but often bounces between joy and tears on whatever whim it wishes. Sometimes, it may even sneak out of the pouch and steal food if neither its mother or anyone else is paying it too much mind. --- Original Trainer: Jeppe Ability: Scrappy Level: 6 Moveset: Comet Punch, Leer, Hammer Arm [EM] Happiness: 10 Exp: 0 |

What a life Jeppe has already had, at the mere age of 18. The world so new, so cruel. What was there for him but the life of a Trainer, surely nothing else? He'd need to watch his step, knowing that many wouldn't hesitate to condemn him for straying off the narrow path. Judgement, jumping to conclusions, and ultimately nobody to support him. These potential companions are brought to mind:- Spoiler:
Cubone's own connection to Lavender Town is quite strong. And, in a sense, isn't Jeppe's mother dead as well? Just a husk, only a beating heart keeping her in this world.
A connection to ghosts and a vindictive attitude bring Shuppet to mind. Thought that, once it evolves, it would stoop to anything to get revenge on those that wronged it lead to an attitude that would fit well with Jeppe's own.
Often laid back and caring, Helioptile prefer the quiet atmospheres of deserts rather than the noise and atmosphere of cities and towns. They are a kind Pokemon that fight hard for their trainers, and it would be a loyal companion unstraying from Jeppe's side.
A loyal companion who's image can often be mistaken for a monster. It can keep Jeppe warm and comforted on even the darkest and coldest of days, offering warmth to its trainer's hesitant heart.
A caring Pokemon that would have Jeppe's back with a compassionate and fierce attitude. It would battle with all its might for him. It's almost two companions for the price of one, even if one of them is an infant that will never grow up... yeah, I'm not sure how that works either.

Jeppe's first true companion in this cold, dusty world will be a Kangaskhan named Orpah.
