She is very shy and apprehensive, the kind of person that has a meltdown when they've written 1 word under the minimum word count in a homework assignment. As such, she hasn't been far from Santalune City, and even at that she doesn't like journeys to far away parts of the city. Belle is also very indecisive, struggling with choices ranging from whether to become a trainer or coordinator to what flavor of ice cream she should eat. Despite her love for Pokémon, she tends to be frightened of wild Pokémon, especially those that are more larger and powerful than others, and has a phobia of most Ghost-Type Pokémon, as well as some Bug-Types. In spite of this, she often obsesses about different Pokémon that she learns about in class, and as such has her eyes set on catching many diverse Pokémon. Building on this, it could be said that she holds an adictive personality, as she constantly fixates on new hobbies, food, TV shows, etc. As well as her intelligence, Belle also has quite a great deal of maturity for her age, and is able to deal with problems well, even though she panics about them. She has a keen sense of justice and morality, although enforces these moral guidelines a little too strictly upon herself. She could be described as a very friendly person, although her apprehension makes it very difficult for her to be confident around strangers or people she isn't friends with. She loves watching Pokémon Contests, which is the root of her coordinator dreams. Her favourite part of coordinating is that the power of Pokémon attacks can be choreographed into something of beauty. Conversely, her trainer dreams originate from the strategy, intellect and careful precision that go into battles. Despite her tendencies with regards to anxiety, she dreams big about finishing Trainer School and leaving Kalos, traveling to other regions to become either a coordinator or a trainer; as stated before she is still indecisive about which path to take.    Strengths: - Intelligence - Passion - Motivation - Grit - Resolve - Morality - Sensibilty - Responsibility    Weaknesses: - Anxiety - Low Confidence - Reserve - Emotional Sensitivity - Hesitance    Battle Style: Belle is more of a strategic, calculating battler than uses a blend of both attack and defense, as opposed to being an all-out-attacker. She chooses her Pokémon carefully and doesn't take risks that much, for example, she'd be more likely to switch a Grass-Type for a Fire-Type when battling a Bug-Type, rather than just staying and fighting with a disadvantage. Her carefulness also leads to hesitance, and she often hesitates when she's unsure to take a risk of some sort, which can cost her a moment of vulnerability. She likes to train her Pokémon to have special abilities that could be used to her advantage in certain battles, such as swimming or climbing. She likes to use moves to her advantage in order to block the opponent while still attacking, like locking the foe into a contact move with Encore, then using Dazzling Gleam so that everytime they tried to get close they would be hurt by the attack.         Background        History: Belle grew up in Santalune City as an only child. She always had a facination with Pokémon, and wanted to go on a Pokémon journey of her own. Throughout her life she watched Coordinator Contests on television, and Gym Battles from the nearby Pokémon Gym run by Viola. As such, she has always struggled between chosing her trainer path - coordinator or trainer? In pursuit of knowledge of Pokémon, she decided to enrol at the Trainer School. She was always at the top of her class and achieved outstanding results on all of her tests. She even spent much of her free time studying Pokémon, memorising breeding groups, type weaknesses and resistances, attacks and Pokémon species. She didn't just do this for her classes, but for leisure purposes in general. Aside from learning, Belle loved to go to the local café with her friends and hang out. She was slightly quirky compared to the rest of the group, being as academically focused as she was. She also enjoyed visiting Viola's Gym to watch battles and watching Pokémon Contests on television. On her final visit to this café, she promised to meet up with everyone back at that café when she returned as a powerful trainer, or coordinator. A few years ago, on a class assignment, Belle was given a Pokémon egg from the school to look after. The assignment went well, however, partway through the assignment, the egg hatched into an Eevee! The two immediately bonded, and thus the school allowed Belle to keep Eevee as her own Pokémon. It was through this experience that Belle discovered her talent of being able to read the emotions of Pokémon. Belle continued through her classes, and eventually reached her finals. She had known for a long time that she would leave and embark on her journey after her finals, but she still hadn't decided whether to be a trainer or coordinator. She studied non-stop for a week, and entered the class, still unsure what to do with her journey. She confidently answered each and every question, while a battle of uncertainty raged within her. The next day she has handed her paper back, and she passed with 100%! And just then, it dawned on her. She didn't have to make a decision; she could do both! Although this does apply to Pokémon she has just met, it isn't too strong with Pokémon she hasn't connected with. The more she connects with a Pokémon, the more accurately, deeply and vividly she can sense their emotions. Similarly, when she connects with Pokémon, they can sense her emotions, however they cannot sense her emotions as strongly as she can sense their's.
