As such, she doesn’t like to dress up- cargo pants or sweats and a tee-shirt or bandeau tops overrun her wardrobe. She does own a few fitted suits of different colors, but only for occasions that call for it… i.e breeding conferences in larger towns or cities. She keeps her black hair cut into a short bob, not styled with bangs. She inherited her mother’s slate gray eyes, but her father’s carefree, open expression. Defining Traits: She has crescent shape scar on her left forearm where she was bit by a young Dratini in her teenage years. She also wears, always, a pair of pearl dragon scale earrings as a sign of her origin. Personality Personality: Caelum is a young woman who fiercely believes in fighting for your dreams. She’s hardworking and eager, but boastful about her own work. Her family would say she’s the last thing from modest they’ve seen in ten miles. She’s mindful of her elders (one has to be in the city that hosts the Dragon’s Den), but extremely brash towards youngsters who probably deserve it. Caelum is determined to one day be a world famous dragon breeder. She’s worked with dragon-types her whole life and has a soft spot for their sometimes wild tempers and otherworldly majesty. She’s unknowingly taken a lesson from the dragon-types in her life and has adapted their inquisitive nature. She craves to learn more and know everything she can about dragon-types, and Pokemon in general. Caelum is gentle with people and Pokemon she’s familiar with, but cautious around strangers and unfamiliar Pokemon. She’s extremely wary of wild Pokemon, which helps the shyer ones open up to her, while a few of the bolder ones have chased her down once or twice. There’s a cycle in there somewhere… As someone who frequently has to work at night to maintain the shrine, she can be a bit moody in the morning. After waking up, or upon being able to sleep in, she’s usually her normal, more cheerful self. Caelum definitely prefers to be awake at night, though, so she doesn’t see it as a drawback. She finds that the dragon-types in the shrine are more receptive to association during the dusk hours. She finds that worth her constantly changing sleep schedule. Caelum is not the type to give up without a fight, but if she knows she can't win, she will quietly back down until she's sure of a positive outcome for herself. She's also one to quickly apologize if she's in the wrong. However, if she firmly believes she's right about something, she'll put up a fight. All in all, Caelum is definitely her mother's daughter and takes after the firm caregiver of the Dragon's Den. A little bit headstrong and boisterous, she's ready to face the challenges of leaving home indefinitely. She’ll first and foremost build her partners stats to make sure they’re able to defend themselves, and pack a powerful punch when they attack. She really isn’t afraid of refining her Pokemons abilities before they’re ready to attack. After all, she believes a better defense is the key to a killer offense. Background History: Caelum’s parents met when her then nineteen-year-old father stumbled into the Dragon’s Den through an opening the mountain and found himself at the Dragon’s Shrine. There, he met Caelum’s mother- a seventeen-year-old Dragon-type trainer, working with a few of the young Dratini’s in the Den. Caelum’s parents like to say it was love at first sight… and two years later her older brother was born. Content with just the one child, Caelum’s parents continued to go about their bustling lives. Her mother eventually became a very permanent fixture at the Shrine, to help raise the Dratini and make sure they were safe on their own. Her father worked tirelessly keep the shrine immaculate. This went on for some time, until Caelum’s mother announced they were expecting yet another child. It was Caelum’s turn to become part of the world, and she wasn’t waiting. A month premature and already a sturdy, chubby baby, Caelum made her way kicking and screaming into the quiet little culture of Blackthorn City. Caelum was quick to take after her mother, just as her brother had been. Both were raised in the heart of the Dragon’s Den, caring for all types of Pokemon that lived there, not just the Dragon-types. It was there that Caelum developed her fondness for the Dragon-type. She was able to witness the hatching of a Dratini, the evolution of that same Dratini, and swore as a teenager that she could see that same Dratini soaring through the night sky as a Dragonite. She didn’t attend a conventional school because of her upbringing. Instead, she spent her time in the Dragon’s Den with other children, younger and older, learning the way of the Shrine between regular scholarly lessons. She never felt isolated from her different upbringing because of the others in the shrine, though it did create a rift between her and other children who weren’t included into the shrine’s culture. Caelum never seemed to notice, always polite with the other children, and spent most of her days with the other children in the Shrine. Caelum struggled in class during her younger years, mostly because she was more interested in tending to the Pokemon of the Shrine than she was in learning. As she grew older, her attitude changed. She realized she needed to succeed in class if she wanted any hope of becoming anything like her mother. In her pre-adolescence, she still snuck out of her boring classes to play with the Pokemon. She excelled in all of her other classes but those. Once her schooling was complete when she was sixteen, she spent her time between the Dragon's Den and the Ice Path. It was there she found her passion for caring for Pokemon, though she never fully took a Pokemon on as her own. During the days she spent cleaning the Shrine and making sure the baby Dratini were able to take care of themselves on their own. In the evenings and into the nights When Caelum was twenty-one, her brother was named to be the successor of their mother’s position in the shrine. While Caelum had no hard feelings (her brother was extremely hard working) she felt that she had to do something more in life than continue to live in his shadow. Upon remembering the time in her youth of watching a Dratini grow from just an egg to (possibly!) a Dragonite, she decided it was something she craved to see again. She began to research her options through asking travelers and her own community. It seemed becoming a breeder was her best option. What better way to be able to see her beloved Dragon-types hatch and grow to be everything they could be and more? It was also a great way for her to travel the world, to get away from the little hustle bustle of Blackthorn. In the past three years she spent most of her evenings in the Dragon's Den with the young Dragon-types, and the late nights in the Ice Path caring for wounded Pokemon once the traveling Trainers had settled into Blackthorn City for the night. The Zubats and and Swinub were more than happy to accept her care, while the more prideful Delibirds and Sneasels were a little more reluctant to have their wounds treated. She was content with this, but something else was still missing... The time had come to make her move. Her brother’s wife recently had twins (what a handful!) and her mother and father stepped down to take care of the children while her brother worked at the Shrine to continue his caregiving. Defining Moments: When she was thirteen, she was bit by a baby Dratini. The Dratini is now a very apologetic Dragonair. Witnessed a Dratini egg hatching at the age of seven. Failed one of her classes due to absence, which spurred her to work harder once she was free from schooling. Other Information

Being scolded too often can crush his confidence, but like many children, he can be easily swayed back onto his feet.
