Fresh Blood [Plot]

It's a dark suburban neighborhood street, and there's a well kept house.

A young adult, with blonde hair, exited the house with a bag. Personal belongings and items essential to a Pokémon Trainer are within the bag. His belt has six Poké Balls attached to it. A Sneasel, nicknamed Dean, occupies one. A few weeks ago, the man won first place in a Poker tournament organized by the mayor of the city. And his prize was the Sneasel himself, who is quite a handful and often lets his claws do the talking. The other five Poké Balls are empty and usable.

Stefan left and walked up the street. He passed by a dark alley that stank of blood. Desiring entertainment, he walked through the alley, shining a flashlight around. He spotted a pool of blood and walked over to it, to find a man lying bleeding but conscious on the ground. His neck is bit. He crouched over him.

Before Stefan could say anything, the man gestured further down the alley. Stefan ran off in that direction. He stopped in the middle of another alley, saw no one.

If Stefan had gone back to the alleyway, he would have noticed that the smell of blood was gone, and that the bleeding man was, too. The distant street lights seemed to fade, leaving the boy in darkness, except for a light that suddenly appeared before him. Something phased into being, and it turned out to be a ghost with a mischievous sneer and big, wicked eyes, the floating body akin to a darkened wrap handkerchief. It was a level three Shuppet, and Stefan's deeper malice had lured it out to play!
