Faceclaim Thread

Come one, come all! This be the place to note your face. Okay, enough with the rhymes. This is a thread that will keep track of all of the used characters and images for use with someone's application. It should also be used to claim the appearance of an NPC that is part of your character's plotline and story if they're to appear in their thread. If it's a Mod introduced character, either you or the Mod may make the claim. This doesn't need to be done for every NPC they encounter, just the ones that will play a major part in the story and aren't going away any time soon! (If they're simply described through word, as like in a character app, claiming isn't necessary.) Once a faceclaim is made, another cannot be made with the same character. Please note the following:

• We will not accept any faceclaims of characters belonging to Pokemon cannon. This includes characters from the anime, cards, games, manga, or anything else. Even if you fill out the form, it's still a no.
  
• If you are using a character/image that's not from an official source such as an anime or manga, you MUST gain permission from the original artist in order to use it. We will ask for proof of permission in this case.
  
• You do not need to faceclaim characters created through a character creation generator or drawn specifically for/by you of your specific character. We're aware that these are unique appearances and don't need to be claimed as such. It would be awesome if you credit the creator of the generator/artist that drew it for you, though!
  

In order to make a proper faceclaim, please fill out and post the following below:

Now was that so bad? If you try and use an appearance you haven't claimed yet, you will be prodded to do so in your Character app. Until you do, their appearance is free game, so try and claim as soon as you can! If you claim an appearance for a character you have yet to make a topic for, you have two days to make the character application (It can still be a WIP, just has to be made) before your claim is considered invalid and free game. If a "face" happens to be one I created, how would I go about doing a faceclaim?

I tend to post my work on deviantART, so would I type this?

Once the art and character's made, I can still add it to the faceclaim if you'd like, but it's not a requirement to do so since it's art specifically made of the character~

So, going about crediting someone on a site, how would you type the source?
Your example says "Game/Xenoblade", so would it be "Site/Artist"?

I'd say it's best done by just linking to the original piece and artist underneath wherever you use the image on the app rather than trying to phrase it out on this thread. I think that'd be easiest to keep track of and do~

After juggling some reverse image searches, the original source of the character is Kazuma Ikezawa, from Summer Wars. I'll note your faceclaim above, although I'd honestly prefer an image from the official source rather than what you currently have for your character, as I believe what you're using is fanart, which would need the permission of the original artist (although I couldn't find the source for the original art... so I'm not sure if it's truly fanart or source material.)
